The Ironman World Championship 2023 held in Nice, France on September 10th was a truly exhilarating event.

It’s worth mentioning that Jan Frodeno, a triathlon legend, also participated in the race.
Frodeno is a gold medal winner in the men’s triathlon at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, a 3-time winner of the Ironman World Championship (2015, 2016, 2019), and a 2-time winner of the Ironman 70.3 World Championship. Despite his impressive record, Frodeno struggled during this race and shared his reflections on Instagram.

Sam Laidlow’s victory at the Ironman World Championship was truly impressive, and he is now the new Ironman World Champion. His outstanding performance in the race was reflected in his times: he completed the swim in 00:47:50, the bike in 04:31:28, and the run in 02:41:46. His impressive overall time of 08:06:22 earned him the top spot on the podium.
Patrick Lange, another triathlon legend, also participated in the race. He is a 2-time winner of the Ironman World Championship (2017, 2018) and showed his incredible running skills in this race with an impressive time of 2:32:41 in the marathon.
